The 7th place was taken by the Japanese car Honda Civic. The vehicle managed to get some good marks for the frontal collusion test, which allowed the car to bypass some known competitors.
Number 6. Volkswagen Golf
The German car made it into our list and took the 6th place thanks to the successful completion of tests, proving that the Golf provides a very good level of safety in accordance with all modern standards.
Number 5. Toyota Prius
This is another Japanese car. The famous “Prius” manufactured by the Toyota concern made it into TOP 5 safest vehicles. IIHS gave this model some acceptable grades despite the fact that the Japanese company could not create a sturdy car body due to the large weight of the batteries.
Number 4. Subaru Impreza
The fourth place was given to the Subaru Impreza and it received the Top Safety Pick + award. Apparently, because of such a high level of safety, Subaru Impreza often performs in various sports competitions.

This is one of the best and most popular cars in the world. This is an economical, effective and safe vehicle, which got some really high marks from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
Number 2. Lexus CT 200h

Number 1. Subaru XV Crosstrek
The leader among the C-class cars became another Japanese vehicle – the Subaru XV Crossstroke. The car has successfully passed all the IIHS tests and received the highest grades.
